Caregiver / Personal Services

Caregiver services are personal care services that can help you or your loved ones with self-care needs and assistance with day-to-day activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, companionship, emotional support and socialization.

In-Home Support Services

The Department of Health Care Policy & Financing is committed to providing service-delivery options that empower Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) members and their families to direct and manage the long-term care services and supports they need to live at home. In-Home Support Services (IHSS) lets you direct and manage the attendants who provide your personal care, homemaker and health maintenance services, with the added support of an agency.

Respite Services

Respite care provides temporary relief for a primary caregiver. It can be arranged for an afternoon or for several days or weeks.

Homemaker Services

Homemaker Services include assistance with general household activities needed to maintain a healthy and safe living environment such as housekeeping (bathroom cleaning, dusting, emptying trash, mopping/sweeping, vacuuming floors, bedroom cleaning, making bed, linen changing, kitchen cleaning, washing dishes).
Meal preparation (main meal and snacks).
Support services , Accompanying, Medication reminding , Shopping, Pharmacy, Laundry.

Private Pay

Private pay home care is home care that you or your loved ones pay for out of existing assets or savings. This type of care is sometimes referred to as “private duty” or “out-of-pocket care.” Most home care providers are paid this way rather than having fees covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
